Buy local! Kava Haus has great coffee, I've chosen different things off the menu and have yet to have a bad experience. Staff is friendly and there is plenty of room to sit and enjoy your coffee if you're not in a hurry. And sure, Wilmington just got a Starbucks but I would still go to kava haus first.

Love Kava Haus! This morning along with our Raspberry Mocha Latte we added a ham and cheddar egg sammie breakfast sandwich with pesto! It was the bomb diggity! Thanks Brad and crew for the excellent light breakfast and wonderful service as always!

The best coffee and best study/work spots for just you or a group.

This was a cute, quaint, and relaxing little coffee house. The location was beautiful in an older building adding to it's character. The barista's were both very nice and helpful. My boyfriend and I decided to get some hot chocolate's since it was a nice fall day and the flavor was to die for. They were warm and chocolatey. The only thing that was a little eh, was there was a lot of leftover mocha mix at the bottom of our cups, but that never bothered me because I kept mixing it and I love chocolate because ya know, I'm a girl.Overall, loved my experience and sitting in the leather chairs was so comfy. ☺️

I haven’t been here yet, but I looked up the ratings and they are great and I get tired of going to Starbucks for coffee their great but it wastes gas. Now that I know you guys are closer to me I can’t wait to get paid and come on down!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

This is the best place to get coffee in Wilmington even with the new Starbucks. I'm always for supporting local businesses, and this one is top notch. They also have amazing soup and scones!

Great place to get coffee, amazing staff, always friendly and very accommodating. Fresh scones daily and fresh coffee. Welcomes musicians, I love to play my guitar there, and am always welcomed. All in all it's the best coffee spot in Wilmington, so if you looking for quality and a warm atmosphere, this is your place. 11/10

OMG...! I love this place! BETTER coffee than Starbucks and wonderful, homemade scones, made THERE, by a wonderful local family that owns the shop. My daughter lives nearby so i try to visit each trip here. The still-hot, caramel apple scone i just had was amazing. Soy latte, great. This neighborhood cafe is cozy and they’re opening an outside area this weekend in compliance with COVID-19 safety standards. this place has always been squeaky clean.please support this awesome family business!!WHY the last reviewer gave such a glowing report but only gave 4 stars boggles my mind...

Wonderful food, cozy place to sit and visit

Kava House is a warm and inviting place to be during the winter. With its gas fireplace, cozy chairs, homemade baked goods, lovely selection of coffees, and even a variety of boxed drinks for kids you can't go wrong visiting this small business. Get the jalepeno cheddar scone it is absolutely amazing. When the weather warms up I'll be returning for a chance at their handmade pizzas. I'm also told tea on the patio is quite nice. Support what makes Wilmington unique and enjoy a delightful, tasty, creation at the same time at Kava House!

Saturday chicken bacon ranch pizza was the best. Quaint little atmosphere. Great place visiting with great friends. Very friendly down to earth staff. Loved it.

LOVE THE PIZZAS!

Used Google maps to find and it was a bit difficult at first. I thought it was a home instead of a business but the door is located along the side of the building. Looked to be wheel chair accessable. The coffee is amazing. Staff very helpful and friendly. I ordered the brownie and German choc mocha and it was very tasty. Brownie was amazing for my sweet

Rotating seasonal menu means you never get bored of specialty drinks. The cozy atmosphere is only enhanced by the staff's friendly and helpful attitudes. The TuesCrew of Ohio TuesDayTrips have gotten both hot and iced coffee here and it is very good. The scones are awesome and worth the stop. The seating is comfortable and relaxing.

Great small town coffee house, popular with Wilmington College students and locals. They have a nice gas fireplace, and the espresso dtinks are nicely done. I had a piece of lemon cake which was really good.

I just got in there now to get a pumpkin spice latte and when I got them everyone was nice and also when I got my pumpkin spice latte best pumpkin spice latte ever better than Starbucks very very sure that I'm going to come back and get the pumpkin spice latte it is to die for is that latte that give you that warm fuzzy feeling when you having a bad day and then all it sound like something is bright your day
